Aventi Group Names 2 New Partners

SAN FRANCISCO, January 23, 2019 – Aventi Group LLC, the world’s first product marketing agency focused on go-to-market execution, announces the addition of two new partners – Michaela Gubbels and Ray Solnik.  Increasing demand for product marketing expertise is fueling the growth of Aventi Group, which brings on-demand leadership for its clients.

Jeff Thompson, President and Co-founder of Aventi Group, states “We founded Aventi over ten years ago specifically to help business executives achieve their goals by augmenting their staff with highly experienced marketers who have proven expertise in key technology areas. We are thrilled to have Michaela Gubbels and Ray Solnik join our executive leadership team as we serve Aventi Group’s expanding client base.”

Michaela Gubbels joins Aventi Group with more than 25 years in product marketing, product strategy and product management. “As a marketing executive myself, I’ve seen firsthand the power of building high performance teams with a blend of internal and external resources,” Michaela explains. “Aventi Group attracted me not only because of its reputation for integrity but also for its agile go-to-market agency model.

Prior to Aventi Group, Michaela held senior product marketing and product management roles at SAP, Apple, Sage, HP, Symantec, Sun Microsystems and other high-tech companies.  She specializes in using customer needs and market data to position and grow software solutions.  Michaela started at IBM after receiving a Master’s in Cognitive Psychology from New Mexico State University.

Ray Solnik has held senior general management, business development, product marketing, and product management roles at AT&T, NorthPoint Communications (acquired by AT&T), and OpSource (acquired by Dimension Data). Ray comments: “I have been impressed with Aventi Group’s leadership, client list and business model. As a prior satisfied Aventi client myself, I look forward to an exciting path forward with the agency.”

Ray’s accomplishments include leading the development of winning products, establishing an OEM agreement with a top semiconductor manufacturer, helping a client raise $3 million venture funding, and growing AT&T WorldNet’s net margin by nearly $100M. Marketing management has been key in all his prior roles. Ray holds a BA in economics from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of business.
